- COGO is a socially progressive website designed to unify social
action and philanthropy. Our mission is as follows:
1) Encourage people to participate in discussions about causes they care about
2) Add value to communication – COGO will be donating 25% of it’s revenues back to it’s featured non-profits
3) Create a social network where individual people, businesses and non-profits can tell their story, share their vision for the future while creating lasting and relationships
The community is the real product at COGO. However, it is about more than just connecting and communicating. The network you create and participate in is centered around ideas and values that focus on how we can make our world a better place. Dropping your buddies a line about where to meet for beers is totally cool as well! Just remember to tip your bartender…a lot. They work hard.
The secret ingredient for the success of COGO and the non-profits we donate to is for users like yourself to explore the non-profits listed on the site, checkout the featured businesses and to participate, participate, participate. Gandhi once said, “You must be the change you seek in this world.” Our actions and our voices can and will have a positive and lasting impact on our local communities, our nations and our world. Each step we take together is a giant leap in the right direction.
